The Play Book
The mission of GAPA's T.E.A.M.S (Technology, Engineering, Athletics, Mathematics, and Science) Christian Academy, is to create a culture where experiential learning opportunities will engage and prepare sports enthusiasts for college, careers, and life by using the T.E.A.M.S learning model to ensure that every sports enthusiast are able to embrace Teamwork, to develop problem-solving skills, and to become a champion through the creative process of receiving a high quality education and college readiness preparation.
The Game Plan
The vision of GAPA's T.E.A.M.S Christian Academy is to serve as an innovative high-performance secondary academy. From the classroom coaches to being housed on a Real-Life academic sports campus. GAPA inspires sports enthusiasts through highly effective instructional strategies for building self-worth, responsibility, and character as they become college-ready, scholars, graduates, and productive game-changers in a sport’s centric society.
GAPA’s T.E.A.M.S Learning Model
The innovative design of the T.E.A.M.S learning model provides Sports Enthusiasts with a playbook on how Technology, Engineering, Athletics, Mathematics, and Science are the academic Championship team for their future.
The T.E.A.M.S model gives Sports Enthusiasts a strategic and winning pathway by using the principles of Athletics within the concepts of STEM. Creative Thinking, Project-Based, and Blended learning systems are the leading trainers within the coaching approach of the T.E.A.M.S learning model.
This type of Teamwork plays beyond the sidelines by developing a design process to assist in introducing Sports Enthusiasts to a starting lineup of vast careers in the World of Athletics. Each Sports Enthusiast that attends GAPA, will be coached with a series of strategies and sequences that will empower them to design their own unique playbook for their future College, Careers, and Life.

International T.E.A.M.S Christian Academy
What does it mean to be an “International T.E.A.M.S Academy" ?
T.E.A.M.S means we offer Technology, Engineering, Athletics, Mathematics, and Science to sports enthusiasts in an comprehensive college-preparatory academic curriculum and intensive pre-professional sports career training which prepares them for wherever their path may lead them after graduation in the sports world. Our experience classroom coaches (teachers), are here because they want to work with sports enthusiasts to help them understand and practice different approaches to allow them to flourish. Talented high school sports enthusiasts don’t need their high school education to relegate the practice of their talents or to take a backseat to their artistic pursuits. At GAPA, T.E.A.M.S creates a living, working, and studying environment with a diverse and talented community of creative and passionate sports enthusiasts from across the country and the globe.
All the sports enthusiasts at GAPA will select a sports path in one of the five Sports Careers Development courses such as —Sports Medicine; Sports Management; Sports Communications; Sports Nutrition; or Sports Marketing. From weekday mornings until early afternoon, sports enthusiasts can be found engaging in spirited debates in history class, practicing algebraic concepts, testing the properties of gases in chemistry lab, or conversing in some foreign language in a situational classrooms. In the afternoons and early evenings, sports enthusiasts will direct their attention to the practice of their chosen sport or their related sport career path.
In addition to classes and sports focus courses, there are dedicated times during the week devoted to community-building, including club and advisory meetings, after school programs, and all-school assemblies which often feature special programming. GAPA's International T.E.A.M.S Academy campus also offers ample opportunities to perform, exhibit, and experience sports careers throughout the school year in GAPA's "Real Life" situational classrooms and campus.
Whether Sports Enthusiasts are in one of our state of the art sports facilities, career development classes, NCAA workshops, or at one of our special sporting event, at GAPA, Sports Enthusiasts' Talents are meeting their Passions.
